Founder & Executive Director

(Italy/Switzerland) Founder and Executive Director of the Trustless Computing Association and CEO of its startup “spin-in” TRUSTLESS.AI, both based in Geneva. He conceived and leads the Free and Safe in Cyberspace global workshops series, that promotes since 2015 a new IT security paradigm to reconcile personal freedoms and public safety. For 20 years, he has been an activist, entrepreneur and researcher in security and privacy of digital communications, e-democracy and global democratic governance. Formerly, Founder and CEO of Participatory Technologies, maker of open source e-democracy solutions for political organizations, Global Vice-President of Business Development at 4thPass (bought by Motorola), the first Java mobile app store system, where he closed a 10M€+ 2001 sale to Telefonica. As CEO in 2008-2012, he brought the valuation of a planned 47,000 sq.mtrs, cybersecurity/media technology park project, the Open Media Park, from €3 to €21 million.

(Australia) An Italy-based Australian cybersecurity advocate, activist, consultant, and publisher with comprehensive international experience amongst private and public organizations. Business Development Director of SecureFlag, a secure coding training firm for developers and DevOps engineers. Principal at Eaton Square, an advisory firm that aids founders and investors in technology investments. Board Member of CyAN Network. Co-Founder and Host of Secure In Mind, of a cybersecurity podcast, where he talks 360° with global leaders about global cyber policy, policing, and governance. Former Consultant at aizoOn, an the Italian cybersecurity company, and contributor to the European Cyber Security Organisation, and Nick is the co-President of the Governance Board and a Member of the Executive Committee of the Trustless Computing Association.

Standards and Certifications Lead

A UK-based information technology professional, and digital identity and trust subject matter expert, specialized in large eID schemes, critical national infrastructures, and national programs. Chairman of EEMA, since 1987 the leading an EU industry association focusing on eID and Information Security. Had a leading role in several European Projects in which EEMA participates, such as FutureID, STORK2. Jon was a member of the Trust In Digital Life Advisory Board and was co-chairman of ITU-T, SG17, Joint Coordination-Identity. He is a frequent public speaker on issues surrounding identity and trust and facilitated in the early stages of the forthcoming EU trust services regulations. Lead technical coordinator of the Trustless Computing Certification Body proposals submitted for EU funding 2015-2016.

Technical translator and Freelance writer. Based in Germany for almost 20 years, Andrew works as a senior member of the technical translations team at CAS Software AG in Karlsruhe. An English native speaker, he also speaks fluent German and Polish - and has a good working knowledge of Spanish. Profoundly impacted by Brexit, Andrew no longer recognized his home country and hopes to use his broad experience and knowledge in European politics and international relations to prevent further democratic decay and steer against the demagogues at work in many European countries. In addition to cycling in the wine region where he lives, Andrew is an enthusiastic but bad guitar player.
